Hike the Hills at Prairie Fest 2015

Come home to your local prairie on Saturday, April 25 at 3400 View Street in Fort Worth.  We're honored to volunteer with the Friends of Tandy Hills to create the greenest festival in Texas.

The Home Sweet Home Hike reveals the plants, animals and stewards of Tandy Hills.  This story driven one hour hike is best for ages 7 - 11, but all ages are welcome.  The hike runs from 11 am through 4 pm.

Hike with us!  Register HERE by Saturday, April 18.

Can't preregister?  That's OK.  You can sign up for hikes on the day of the fest, too.

Explore art and science on Tandy Hills Ridge

We're grateful to feature works by native Fort Worth artist Karen Carr in our Geologic Time Trail.  Interpretive signs along Tandy Hills Ridge will also feature works by UK artist Richard Bizley

Messages embedded in our Art on the Prairie exhibition reveal clues to a puzzle.  Visit the Time Travel Passport booth to get a free Time Travel gamebook, but beware the Time Vortex!  Time Travel Guides will advise your travels.

Time Travel Sponsors in the exhibitor's circle will stamp your passport with Icons of Time (original drawings by Richard Bizley) -- making you eligible to enter a drawing for a free week of summer camp at YMCA Camp Carter - $600 value!

A winner will be announced at sunset as Brave Combo takes the stage.

Free guided hikes leave on the hour --

11 am until 4 pm.
